About the Artist

Danielle is a mender more than an artist. She searches for old and broken things, words and fragmented sentences, and finds pleasure in composing them in new and interesting ways. She received her passion from her mother and is blessed to have an equally artistic grandmother. Determined to be a lifelong student, Danielle has explored many avenues in academia but has yet to find her niche. Currently she is examining her ambivalence towards enrolling in fine arts. Above all Danielle is seeking a community focused on well being, she loves to connect like minded people and foster internal growth. She sees art, music and writing as tools to communicate ideas that are difficult to address with commonplace lingo. She has recognized the fallacy in her own life but still feels like her heart is a bird trapped in her rib cage. When she is anxious it flutters or pecks at her stomach... it really wants to be free but it is stuck in her body which is forced to operate in this world...
