As community is made up of so many precious and diverse people, we are working to develop workshop series’ that appeal to everyone. We welcome your ideas for something you'd like to see here, or an idea that you'd be excited to deliver at the Edge.

Downtown Coffee Ground - Third Monday of the month

These are beautiful (and awesomely unique) ALL AGES events. The fist two hours of the evening features an open stage inviting anyone willing to play some tunes, recite poetry or share stories.  Always featuring a special performance set to the close evening of local or touring artists.  That's not it though, for of those of you out there on the quieter side, we have a few art tables with paints and paper available.  Let the music and good company inspire your creative flow!

Organic coffees, teas and tasty snacks of locally grown goodies are on sale... that's right, come down and give your soul a sweet treat!

Tuesday Night Art Jams - hosted by Winnipeg's Artist Group

Founded by a group of graduate art students suffering from classroom withdrawal, Winnipeg Artists Group is proud to announce its 3rd year running the Art Nights program; an open format drop-in art jam which encourages creative individuals to come and share their talents. The best ideas come from creative collaboration, so artists are given the opportunity to produce good work in good company while giving and receiving feedback from other talented individuals in this city.

Artists include illustrators, writers, graphic designers, painters, sculptors, game designers, photographers, and even knitters! So come out and join us for Tuesday Art Nights at The Edge Gallery on Main Street. Escape that lonely studio, meet inspiring new friends and create something wonderful!  Keep your eyes on the calendar as some Tuesday, the group meets "out on the field".
