Alix McLachlan
Background: Raised in Bird's Hill in the '60's, Alix is primarily a self-taught multi-medium artist whose taste for subject matter has developed over time from oil painting landscapes on canvas to acrylic abstracts on glass and most currently metal and spray paint, emerging mostly as abstract.
Mediums: Currently exploring metal artwork, Alix is equally comfortable with a camera. She enjoys taking shots after a rain, or the first frost, when interesting things are frozen for a time.
